3D scanning of industrial facilities (point clouds)

The modern measurement method, 3D laser scanning. It stands out from the other methods by the timesaving process of obtained data with very high accuracy. 3D scanners are the devices used for that kind of measurement. The result of their measurement is called the point cloud. It is a collection of a huge number of points showing the geometry and physical properties of the scanned object. We are processing collected data in dedicated software. The result is a precise computer model of the real object. Further it can be used by constructors, engineers and people who need precise visualization of the object.
